Join us as we celebrate the new beginnings of The Oasis Church!

The OASIS Church launches September 12 & 13 at 108th & Pulaski. 

“But wait,” you say, “there’s been a church there for a long time!  I’ve gone there for paper shredding and to vote in city elections.” Correct…but The OASIS is a new beginning formed by two different churches, Crosswinds Church & Imago Dei Church. 

You are invited to their launch weekend…

  • A free Block Party on Saturday, September 12, 2-6pm. The huge front lawn will host a bouncy house, face painting, balloon creations, kids games, adults games & lots of food (Chicago hotdogs…no ketchup allowed!!) served throughout. 
  • The Sunday service launch on September 13 @ 10 a.m. followed by lunch (gotta love Barracos!) and tours of the building. 

But why? Why a new church in a neighborhood that already has lots of churches? Because the two churches have a synergy which means that 1 plus 1 equals more than 2!

  • Together, they have a strong leadership team, led by Pastors Joe Greenwald and Cleveland Gregory.
  • Together, they have a mix of people that represents our neighborhoods…in terms of age, families (lots of kids there!), and ethnicity.
  •  Together, their love for God overflows into their love for one another and for the southside of Chicago.
  •  In other words, The OASIS is a multicultural family of disciples who are being transformed by the gospel and sent into the city to make a difference.

The weekend of September 12-13 is a great way to say “hey” to many of your neighbors and, at the same time, check out The OASIS. For the Saturday Block Party, just pop in or stay the whole time. Plenty of parking available and it’s all free. 

On Sunday, experience an immersive church service with quality, Spirit-led worship and engaging Bible teaching that speaks to the heart. This is your opportunity to experience the presence of God and the reality of Jesus’ love. How long has it been?
